The Opening Days in Dr Ferrer School

The rebuilding work in Dr Ferrer School school arrived to an end. Now the new school is beautiful and very  big, with classrooms for everything.
On Thursday the 19th and Friday the 20th,  it took place THE OPENING DAYS of our new English classroom.

Ms. Antònia George, a former teacher who lives in Swansea, Wales, visited us to start with storytelling, songs, dances, dialogues and so on in real English!!
All the staff and the kids, of course, enjoyed these days a lot!!!
Here there are some pictures....

Kindly regards!!

Our calendar is ready.

The 2012 calendar was designed by Anna Wanic with pictures taken and sent by all the partners. It tells the story about events, holidays, festivals we celebrate in The Netherlands, Slovenia, Latvia, Poland, Portugal and Catalonia. There are some pictures from Comenius Meetings we already had and a few words and photos from our home towns. As our project product the calendar will be sort of souvenir which has practical value too.

The most active book readers!

On the 12th of January 2012 the most active readers from Ramuli school were honored in the Cesis central library childrens section. One child had read 160 books from September until December.

Readers had a chance to meet the zookeeper Velga Vītola and to participate in the opening festival of her new  book "Ūdrītis Ķūķis". Children listened with interest in Velgas Vītolas story and looked at the pictures of her adopted animals: an otter, an elk, ect.
