National Independence Day ( Narodowe Święto Niepodległości) is a holiday celebrated every year on 11 November to commemorate the anniversary of Poland's assumption of independent statehood in 1918 after 123 years of partition by Russia, Prussia and Austria.
On the 11 November our pupils with our new flag took part in official ceremony in the town. Today we had a performance at school, we sang traditional songs and history teacher Ms Oleszek and her class 5b made a presentation about Polish complicated history.
