Art works based on fairy tales

 For last few weeks pupils in Poland have read fairy tales and the topic was an inspiration for a lot of art works. Pictures coloured with crayons were the most popular but they also used paints to paint Cinderella at the ball. 

They designed Cinderella`s dress.

 And made delicious cottage of a wicked witch. They built it of gingerbread, cakes, sweets, jelly and chocolate. Then they played Hansel and Gretel and ate the cottage starting with the rooftop :-)

As much as pupils enjoyed listening to old, traditional fairy tales they also had deeper lessons about life, love, good and bad.

Fairytales competition in Rāmuļi primary school

Previous week in Rāmuļu primary school youngest children listened fairy tales every day: Red Little Riding Hood, Cinderella, Three Little Pigs, Ugly Duckling and Hansel and Gretel.


Fairytales was read by oldest school children. 

After listening children made drawings, formed duck from plasticine, made princess crystal slippers and hats.


Today children voted about their favorite book. And the winner was "Three Little Pigs".
